Adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout the event and during all activities. Any violation of the Code of Conduct or national law may lead to disciplinary actions, including expulsion from the event.
The training includes 3 modules required for all adults attending the event. Available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. A certificate of completion for the final module – Safe from Harm at the Interamerican Scout JamCam– must be presented to access the venue.
It's everyone's responsibility to report any situation that makes you—or others—feel uneasy, unsafe, or threatened. You can report concerns through any of the following methods:
During the event, there will be a quiet and safe area dedicated to Listening Ears, where a team of volunteers will be available to talk or receive reports. The role of the LE team is to guide and support anyone who faces a risk or experiences discomfort.
This space offers a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and trustworthy environment where participants can seek help for themselves or for others. In addition, the Listening Ears team provides emotional and mental well-being support to everyone, regardless of age or role within the event.
